Akriti Anand serves as Deputy Chief Content Producer at LiveMint. She is a digital journalist with over six years of experience in the news sector.
In her present position, she reports on national and international politics while monitoring developments in science and space exploration.
Akriti became part of the LiveMint team in October 2023. Earlier, she worked as a senior sub-editor at India Today and later at CNBCTV-18, where she handled breaking news, major elections, Parliament bills and political debates. She is also experienced in editing stories for digital platforms.
At CNBCTV-18, she made her television debut during the Chandrayaan-3 mission and provided coverage of the Karnataka Elections.
Outside breaking news duties, Akriti writes explainers, interviews experts and simplifies complex space missions. She holds a BA in English Literature, a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and a Master’s in Development Studies. She is currently studying climate journalism.
