Agartala is scheduled to hold the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026 on July 9 and 10 to highlight the state’s investment potential. Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that the gathering aims to generate employment, raise per capita income and boost GSDP. On July 5 he reviewed arrangements during a meeting at the International Fair Ground in Hafania with secretaries and officials from relevant departments. Saha noted that last year’s event produced memoranda worth 30,000 crore rupees. He added that this year proposals reaching one lakh crore rupees are possible and departments are working toward that target. The chief minister expressed confidence that the upcoming conclave will succeed, providing a platform to present the state’s investment scope. He described the event as historic and said authorities are ensuring complete preparations. The state remains committed to inclusive, sustainable and investment-driven growth. Around 500 investors, industrialists, entrepreneurs and policymakers from India and abroad are expected to attend, with roughly 20 exhibition stalls planned by various departments.
