Why Bengaluru’s Namma Metro Blue Line may not open in 2026

Namma Metro’s Blue Line, connecting Silk Board and KR Pura along Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road, is unlikely to open by the earlier 2026 target. With several civil and systems works still pending, commercial operations are now expected to shift to early 2027, with a possibility of further delay until the middle of the year.
