A social media exchange occurred between Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta after Kejriwal replied “Who are you?” to a post by BJP national president Nitin Nabin.
The BJP had shared Nabin’s statement criticizing opposition leaders including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Kejriwal on matters concerning Hindu faith and Sanatan Dharma.
Nabin stated that opposition figures should not view the Hindu religion as weak and noted that people would not accept rhetoric insulting Hindu deities. He added that Uttar Pradesh and the nation would reject any affront to Sanatan traditions.
Kejriwal responded briefly with “Who are you?” on the platform.
Gupta replied by identifying the 46-year-old Nabin as national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, describing it as the world’s largest political party. She outlined his career, noting he had won four consecutive terms from Bihar’s Bankipur constituency and advanced from a youth wing member to his current role. She also mentioned his membership in the Rajya Sabha.
Gupta accused Kejriwal of frustration and arrogance. She referenced West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s earlier question “Who is Amit Shah?” and stated that time answers every question. She concluded by noting that even Ravana’s arrogance did not endure.
The exchange reflects continued political tensions between the BJP and AAP leadership on social media ahead of upcoming contests.
