According to an article in an Indian newspaper, this change led to a 65% increase in sales. Traditional materials like paper, wood, aluminum, and tin had long been available but lacked transparency. As noted by G.R. Bhide, an official at Plastics Packaging Pvt. Ltd., customers are more likely to purchase items they can clearly view.
