Gujarat Titans director of cricket Vikram Solanki reviewed his team’s defeat in the IPL final in Ahmedabad on Sunday. He congratulated Royal Challengers Bengaluru for their stronger performance and said the Titans were proud of their campaign despite falling short. Solanki noted they were probably 20-25 runs below the target but highlighted the determination shown by the players to keep the contest close until the end. He added that the result came down to execution on the day and offered congratulations to the winning side.
