India fielded a contingent of 167 athletes, including 111 men and 56 women, who took part in eleven sports at the Aichi-Nagoya competition. The total was noticeably lower than the 309 athletes who represented the country at the previous edition in Hangzhou two years earlier. Even with the reduced numbers the team improved on its prior performance by capturing six additional medals.

The smaller delegation still produced a stronger overall result than before. Officials noted that careful selection and focused preparation allowed the athletes to deliver at a higher level despite fewer participants. The outcome demonstrated that targeted training and efficient resource use can lead to better returns in multi-sport events.

Observers pointed out that the strategy of sending a compact yet highly prepared group paid dividends. Each athlete competed across the eleven disciplines with clear objectives. The increase of six medals over the previous best underlined the effectiveness of the approach taken by the sports authorities.

The Aichi-Nagoya edition therefore marked a step forward for the Indian contingent. Although the squad size was reduced by more than half compared with Hangzhou, the medal tally rose. This result reinforced the value of quality preparation over sheer numbers in international para sport competitions.

Throughout the event the athletes maintained consistent standards across all sports. The final count reflected steady improvement and disciplined execution. The six-medal gain stood as clear evidence that a streamlined team can achieve more when every member is thoroughly ready.

In summary the campaign showed that a smaller group of 167 athletes outperformed a much larger previous delegation. The achievement of 114 medals in total surpassed the earlier record by six. Such an outcome may influence future planning for similar international gatherings where efficiency and focus remain priorities.
