RCB posted 254 for five and then dismissed GT for 162, with captain Rajat Patidar scoring an unbeaten 93 off 33 balls and the bowlers supporting strongly. Bobat noted that multiple players have stepped up in key moments over the past two seasons, reducing reliance on a few individuals. He said consistent contributions from various batters and bowlers have been encouraging. Bobat praised Patidar’s innings and leadership, noting his calm approach, game awareness, and ability to build innings before accelerating. The director added that the aggressive batting was aimed at pressuring GT’s strong top order. He also commended experienced players like Virat Kohli, Krunal Pandya, Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar for handling pressure situations.
