LONDON: Serena Williams will return to Wimbledon after four years away following a wildcard entry for the women’s doubles event, awarded by the All England Club on Tuesday. The 44-year-old, who holds 23 Grand Slam singles titles, resumed competition this month at the Queen’s Club Championships in doubles alongside Victoria Mboko. Williams has claimed seven Wimbledon singles crowns and multiple doubles titles with her older sister Venus, who will again be her partner at this year’s event.
