Sweden defeated Tunisia 5-1 in their FIFA World Cup Group F match on Sunday. Yasin Ayari scored twice with impressive strikes, while Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres also found the net. The result marked Sweden’s first five-goal World Cup performance since 1938. Ayari opened the scoring in the seventh minute after a defensive error by Tunisia’s goalkeeper. Gyokeres had a shot blocked, but Ayari collected the rebound and fired home. Isak added a second goal just before halftime following a quick counterattack. Tunisia pulled one back through defender Omar Rekik’s header. In the second half, Gyokeres scored after a pass from Isak, and substitute Mattias Svanberg made it 4-1 late on following a VAR review. Ayari completed the scoring with another powerful shot in stoppage time. Sweden now lead Group F with three points after Japan and the Netherlands drew earlier.
