Explosive batting from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel guided Rajasthan Royals to a six-wicket triumph against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Friday’s IPL encounter.

Opting to bat first, RCB reached 201 for 8, thanks to a resilient 63 from captain Rajat Patidar.

Virat Kohli added 32, Romario Shepherd contributed 22, and Venkatesh Iyer scored 29 to support the innings.

Chasing the target, Sooryavanshi’s 78 from 26 deliveries and Jurel’s unbeaten 81 from 43 balls formed a crucial 108-run second-wicket partnership in only 37 balls. Krunal Pandya took 2 for 30, claiming consecutive wickets to apply pressure.

Jurel then partnered with Ravindra Jadeja, who made 24, for a 68-run stand that sealed the win with two overs remaining.

For Rajasthan Royals, Jofra Archer (2/33), Ravi Bishnoi (2/32), and Brijesh Sharma (2/37) each picked up two wickets.
