Vivo has brought back its S series by introducing the Vivo S2 aimed at premium segment customers in India. The launch took place on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The phone includes a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and local peak brightness up to 3,000 nits.
It comes with a 7,050mAh battery and a 44W charger included in the box. The device also carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.
Vivo S2 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 from the start.
The rear camera is 50MP while the selfie camera is 32MP.
Colors offered are Silk White, Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze. Pricing starts at ₹39,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and ₹49,999 for the 8GB/256GB version. Sales begin August 11 via Amazon, Flipkart and retail stores.
