The Vivo X300 FE debuted discreetly in Russia earlier this year in March and is anticipated to enter the Indian market shortly. Sources indicate it will come with an optional camera add-on called the Telephoto Extender Kit. This model is likely to be placed as a more affordable option compared to the Vivo X300, which launched in India in December 2025 along with its Pro version. Additional details on the device’s main features have emerged from recent reports.

Vivo X300 FE Details for India

Industry insiders, as reported by 91Mobiles, state that the Vivo X300 FE for India will support a Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit available for separate purchase. This attachment connects to the phone’s telephoto lens via a special case and is expected to boost zoom up to 2.35 times, potentially allowing for 200mm optical zoom and a peak focal length of 1600mm.

The same sources mention that the Indian model will include a 50-megapixel telephoto camera tuned by Zeiss. It is also projected to offer AI-enhanced portrait modes that, when paired with the extender, improve portrait shooting quality.

Although pricing is not yet confirmed, the device is expected to be priced lower than the standard Vivo X300, which retails for about Rs. 75,000 in India. It aims to rival upcoming models like the iPhone 17 and Samsung Galaxy S26.

A separate report from PassionateGeekz notes that the Vivo X300 FE measures 7.99mm thick and weighs 191 grams. Color choices may include black, green, and purple, with an AG frosted surface for a refined, high-end appearance.

Prior leaks suggest the Indian version could launch in early May, featuring a unique green shade exclusive to the region.

The device is rumored to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with an all-big-core architecture for enhanced efficiency and speed. It reportedly provides up to 36% better CPU performance, 11% GPU gains, and 46% superior AI processing. It supports LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for quicker operations, with AnTuTu benchmarks exceeding 3.16 million.

Running on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, the phone is expected to include tools like Atomic Island for easy drag-and-drop sharing and cross-device file transfers. AI features such as AI VFX may enable adding effects like auroras or snow to photos.

Camera setup, optimized by Zeiss, is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera could be 50 megapixels.

The telephoto lens is said to produce sharper images at extended zooms, with options like Stage Mode, dual-camera video, and AI improvements. A multi-focal portrait flash might cover 23mm to 100mm lengths, aiding low-light portraits.

Battery capacity is expected at 6,500mAh, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, plus bypass charging and advanced cooling for sustained battery life.
