US President Donald Trump will join a G7 working session with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy in France on Tuesday but will not hold a one-on-one meeting, a senior official said. The summit takes place in Evian in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region from 15 to 17 June. Trump is also set for bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and India. Officials briefing reporters noted that Russian advances have largely stalled and said the goal is to end the war quickly. A Ukrainian drone strike killed one person and wounded three others in Russia’s Krasnodar region on Saturday, with debris igniting a fire at a sea terminal. Ukrainian forces also struck an oil facility in Volgograd and targets in occupied Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant was reconnected to the grid after repairs during a short IAEA-brokered ceasefire, its 19th power loss since the war began.
