Two women, S. Keerthana, 26, and M. Nivethitha, 23, sustained injuries after trying to exit a train while it was still moving at Ramanathapuram railway station early on April 15, 2026. Personnel from the Railway Protection Force and Tamil Nadu Railway Police discovered one of them unconscious on platform one at approximately 3:20 a.m.
