Dr. Rahul Devraj has been appointed Director of the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad for a three-year term. He succeeds Dr. Nagari Bheerappa, who assumed the role at the tertiary care institute in June 2023.
The appointment was announced through a Government Order issued by Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu.
A senior urologist, Dr. Devraj currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Urology at NIMS. He is among the institute’s senior faculty and has contributed to its clinical, academic and administrative work for several years.
