The father of Chetan Chowdhury, an accused in the death of Pune businessman Ketan Vishal Agrawal, has stated that his son is innocent and stood at a distance when Agrawal fell into a valley at Maharashtra’s Lohagad Fort. Investigators describe the incident on June 18 as the result of a plan developed over several weeks. Babulal Chowdhury said his son left home for a business meeting and had no involvement in the events. He reported that Chetan denied pushing the victim and claimed Siya Goyal stood closest to Agrawal at the time. The father added that the family had never met Siya before the case. He maintained that Chetan was being wrongly accused and described him as a diligent worker. Police allege that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chowdhury conspired to kill Agrawal, with possible reconnaissance at the fort earlier and attempts to cancel a planned trip. They say the pair pushed Agrawal into the valley on June 18. The investigation by Pune Rural Police continues.
