Examination of sectoral credit patterns from January 2009 to May 2026 reveals that this type of even expansion is uncommon. Only five intervals saw overall bank lending rise 14% or more for two quarters or longer. Yet concurrent increases of 14% or higher across sectors over an extended stretch took place just once earlier, from October 2010 to August 2011.
