General Dhiraj Seth took over as the 31st Chief of Army Staff on Wednesday. He described the Indian Army as a combat-ready and experienced force prepared to handle any operational challenge. General Seth outlined his priorities through the acronym ‘VIJAY’, with ‘V’ referring to vigilance along borders and against emerging threats.
