The Indian Railways Ministry has authorized the launch of a new Amrit Bharat Express train linking Varanasi and Pune’s Hadapsar station. This service aims to provide cost-effective travel options for individuals from low and lower-middle income groups. It will enhance transportation links between the states of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The train from Varanasi to Pune operates under number 22589, with the return journey from Pune to Varanasi designated as 22590. The route passes through Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi station.
The express will make stops at 18 locations during its trip: Gyanpur Road, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Orai, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Bina, Rani Kamlapati, Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Koparagaon, Ahilyanagar, and Daund Chord Line.
