As authorities investigate the suspected killing of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal, Sahil Goyal stated on Monday that Aashutosh Srivastava is not the family’s legal representative and may have secured his sister’s signature through deception. Speaking to India Today, Sahil confirmed that Srivastava had never received authorization to act on their behalf. He also noted that a planned family trip to Bali was called off after Ketan’s passport disappeared, reportedly hidden by Siya to stop the journey. Sahil declined to discuss further contact with his sister, directing additional questions to police and court proceedings. The comments follow the June 18 incident at Lohagad Fort, where Siya Goyal, 20, and Chetan Chaudhary, 22, were arrested for allegedly pushing Agarwal to his death. Siya was taken to the site on Sunday to demonstrate events using a dummy and retrace the route. Her parents and brother have been questioned for several hours each. Investigators are reviewing digital records, movements, and possible motives, noting that chat histories were reportedly deleted. Local residents held a vigil, and the victim’s father urged witnesses to assist the inquiry.
