Mullanpur: KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan guided India to 96 for one at lunch on the first day of the one-off Test against Afghanistan. Rahul was unbeaten on 37 and Sudharsan on 32 after Yashasvi Jaiswal fell for 24. Their stand added 55 runs for the second wicket. India elected to bat first after winning the toss and handed a debut to left-arm spinner Manav Suthar.
