He described it as odd that a key member of the recent T20 World Cup-winning side was not selected. Prabhsimran Singh was added as the second wicketkeeper alongside Ishan Kishan. Rahane posted on Instagram that he hoped Samson had received clear communication and expressed hope that the player would return to the side soon.
