West Indies cricket icon Sir Garfield Sobers died on July 17 at the age of 89. Regarded as one of the finest all-rounders the sport has known, he built a lasting legacy with exceptional skill in batting and bowling that inspired players across many nations. He was ten days short of his 90th birthday.
