Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has compared the progress of India’s aggressive batters to successive films in the Terminator series. He described himself as the original, Abhishek Sharma as Terminator 4 and young prospect Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as Terminator 6. Speaking during the Wimbledon men’s singles final, Yuvraj said the 15-year-old marks the next stage of attacking play and expressed interest in mentoring him later. He noted that each generation has advanced the approach further and welcomed the continued development of the sport. Yuvraj also drew parallels with changes in modern tennis. He said he has already worked extensively with Abhishek and would like to do the same with Vaibhav, whom he called a promising talent. Sooryavanshi described the meeting as memorable and said the advice covered mental aspects of the game as well as technique. Abhishek Sharma, who has trained with Yuvraj for years, said he understood the younger player’s feelings and called the shared experience at Wimbledon special.
