Google has changed the name of its AI research tool NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook. This integrates the application into the company’s Gemini lineup, which encompasses the Gemini app and Gemini Live.
The product originated as Project Tailwind at the 2023 Google I/O event and became publicly available as NotebookLM. It has seen substantial growth, now serving over 30 million users globally.
The update mainly involves a new name and logo. Google indicates that current notebooks, data, and functionalities will stay the same, eliminating any need for users to transfer or rebuild their work.
