Raymond shares increased nearly 4% after the firm named the former Bharat Electronics chairman and managing director as chief executive of its defense operations. The company believes his almost four decades of work in defense technologies and project delivery will support growth in defense electronics, systems integration, aerospace and related engineering areas.
