Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele scored the goals as France secured a 2-0 victory against Morocco in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal at Gillette Stadium in Boston. Mbappe found the net in the 60th minute and set up Dembele six minutes later to extend the lead.

Morocco matched France in possession for long periods but created fewer scoring chances. France appeared more threatening throughout, though Mbappe missed a penalty in the 28th minute after being fouled in the area by Noussair Mazraoui. The referee awarded the spot kick following a review that lasted over three minutes. Mbappe’s effort was saved comfortably by goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
