New Delhi: Punjab and Sind Bank marked its 119th Foundation Day, highlighting more than a century of service to the country. The program began with a religious recitation, followed by the introduction of several digital tools aimed at customers and an internal cultural event.
Senior officials from the Department of Financial Services attended the New Delhi gathering, along with representatives from other financial and public sector bodies.
New offerings launched included an updated vision and mission statement, a human resources application, central bank digital currency services, a digital gold loan product, and a dedicated account for government employees.
An additional secretary from the ministry congratulated the bank’s staff on the milestone.
