An Air India aircraft heading to San Francisco turned back to Delhi after more than eight hours in the air because of a technical fault on Wednesday morning, sources reported. The Boeing 777-300ER carried about 230 passengers. The airline stated the plane landed safely and will receive a technical check following its safety protocols. Flight data indicated the aircraft began its return after roughly three hours aloft while over Chinese airspace. Air India expressed regret for the disruption and arranged alternative flights for passengers. Ground staff offered refreshments, hotel stays, or rebooking options as chosen by travelers.
