The case, initially involving allegations of dowry-related harassment, now centers on digital records including call logs, CCTV footage and messaging data. A recently circulated audio recording reportedly captures conversations in which her mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, questioned Sharma about prior relationships and made accusatory remarks. The recording also includes references to alleged verbal abuse by Sharma’s husband. Friends of the deceased have stated that Singh pressured Sharma before the wedding to remove modeling photographs from social media accounts. Additional accounts describe ongoing family criticism regarding Sharma’s background and education. The matter remains under legal review with authorities examining the authenticity and context of the materials.
