Broader questions remain about job losses in technology, where India has nearly six million workers, the creation of new roles, India’s position in global AI development, and the infrastructure needed to stay competitive. Government efforts to avoid falling behind will also be reviewed.
These topics will be addressed during a panel at The Hindu Huddle in Bengaluru on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Participants include Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Secretary S. Krishnan, Chief Economic Advisor V. Anantha Nageswaran, and former Cognizant CEO and Krea University Chancellor Lakshmi Narayanan.
