SpaceX delayed the planned liftoff of its Starship V3 rocket from Texas on Thursday and rescheduled the uncrewed flight for Friday. The vehicle includes multiple upgrades intended to support frequent Starlink satellite deployments and future NASA lunar missions. The company halted the countdown shortly before liftoff due to issues with fuel conditions and a hydraulic component on the launch tower. Company founder Elon Musk stated that repairs would be attempted overnight to enable a new try the following day. The Starship program has received more than 15 billion dollars in development funding and forms a central part of plans to lower launch expenses while advancing satellite operations and deep-space objectives. Musk noted that additional vehicles are already in production, suggesting that any setback would cause only limited disruption to the overall testing schedule.
