The Infinix GT 30 Pro debuted in India in June of last year. Now, the Chinese technology company is preparing to introduce its follow-up model. Named the Infinix GT 50 Pro, this new gaming device will enter certain international markets later this week. The firm has also shared details on the phone’s appearance, along with major specs and capabilities. It will come in at least two color choices and include a two-camera setup on the back. The device will incorporate touch-sensitive shoulder buttons, akin to those on the previous Infinix GT 30 Pro.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Scheduled for Worldwide Release on April 24
Through a social media update, the manufacturer stated that the Infinix GT 50 Pro will arrive in specific global regions on April 24. The company confirmed the phone will have a flat AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate reaching 144Hz. It will enable 144 frames per second in certain games. The device will include pressure-responsive shoulder controls, termed ‘Pressure-Sense GT Trigger,’ located on the right edge.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro will support high-resolution sound for wired and wireless earphones, plus Dolby Atmos. The left side will house a ZoneTouch Master switch. For heat control, the forthcoming model will use a liquid cooling mechanism, viewable via the rear cover. This setup aims to prevent overheating in demanding activities and gaming sessions, reducing performance drops, as per the company.
It will feature a pair of rear cameras in a rectangular module beside an LED light. The phone is previewed in silver and red hues, though official color names remain undisclosed.
Beyond the shoulder control, the right side will include a power key and volume buttons. The screen will have a centered hole for the front-facing camera.
Although further specifics are pending from the company, sources indicate the Infinix GT 50 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch panel. It is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, with 12GB RAM and storage options up to 512GB. The rear setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The front could have a 13-megapixel unit for self-portraits and video chats.
