Oppo introduced the Reno 16 series smartphones in India on July 2, 2026, consisting of the Reno 16 and Reno 16c models. Both devices ship with ColoOS 16 based on Android 16. The company simultaneously released Enco Air 5 wireless earbuds that promise 54 hours of battery life priced at ₹3,299.

The Reno 16 includes a 6.32-inch AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. The Reno 16c features a 6.57-inch display with the same refresh rate and 1,400 nits brightness. Both models carry IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K certifications for water and dust protection.

The Reno 16 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, plus a 6,700 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. It has a triple 50 MP rear camera array covering main, ultrawide and telephoto lenses along with a 50 MP selfie camera.

The Reno 16c uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with matching memory and storage options, a 7,000 mAh battery supporting 80W charging, and dual 50 MP cameras. Both phones support 4K 60fps HDR video recording and include AI creative features such as AI Remix Collage and Dual-View Video 2.0.

Pricing for the Reno 16 begins at ₹61,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB version and ₹67,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB variant. The Reno 16c starts at ₹46,999. Sales commence July 9 through Oppo stores, Flipkart, Amazon and other retailers.
