Today (May 25) brought several consumer technology announcements involving smartphones, computing devices, and audio products.
ASUS introduced the VM441 AiO, described as the first all-in-one PC using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processor. It features a 24-inch full HD display and is offered in 512GB and 1TB storage options priced at Rs 1,01,990 and Rs 1,11,990. The unit includes tilt adjustment, a slim 22mm stand with wide viewing angles, and Copilot+ PC capabilities delivering up to 45 TOPS NPU performance for AI tasks. It also has dual 3W stereo speakers, AI noise cancellation, a 5MP IR camera, and comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Buyers receive lifetime Microsoft Office Home 2024 access plus a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription. Availability covers ASUS stores, its online shop, Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, ROG outlets, and authorized partners.
Vivo released the Y600 Turbo in China. The phone runs Android 16 on a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen and uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Storage variants start at CNY 2,299 (about Rs 32,000) for 8GB+256GB, with higher models at CNY 2,599 and CNY 2,899. Colors include Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink. It has a 50MP rear camera plus 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP front camera, and a 9000mAh battery. Sensors comprise accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, proximity, compass, and infrared.
Motorola launched the Moto G37, Moto G37 Power, and Moto Buds 2 in India. Both phones use the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and Android 16. The G37 offers 4GB+64GB storage for Rs 13,999 in Pantone Capri and Pantone Impenetrable colors with a 5200mAh battery. The G37 Power comes in 4GB+128GB (Rs 15,999) and 8GB+128GB (Rs 18,999) versions across three Pantone shades and carries a 7000mAh battery. Each has a 13MP rear camera and is sold via Flipkart, Motorola’s site, and retail stores. The Moto Buds 2 earbuds cost Rs 2,999 with dual 11mm drivers in three Pantone colors. Jio buyers receive six months of 5000GB cloud storage and Gemini Pro benefits.
