India Raises Export Duty on Diesel to Rs 55.5 per Litre and ATF to Rs 42 per Litre; Petrol Duty Unchanged at Zero

As of April 11, 2026, authorities have elevated the export tax on diesel from Rs 21.5 per litre to Rs 55.5 per litre. The tax on aviation turbine fuel has also been raised from Rs 29.5 per litre to Rs 42 per litre. In contrast, the export tax on petrol stays at zero.
