A new account has emerged in the reported incidents of sexual harassment and coerced religious conversion at a business process outsourcing firm connected to TCS in Nashik. A fourth individual has accused high-level staff of disregarding her ongoing reports and urging her to abandon the issue.
Describing her distressing ordeal, the woman stated that despite several oral notifications about the actions of accused employee Raza Memon, no substantial measures were implemented. She asserted that superiors tried to suppress her grievances.
She claimed that HR and Operations Manager Ashwini Chainani said to her, ‘Why seek attention? Simply forget it and move on,’ after she raised the concern.
Per her account, the misconduct started during her initial training in May 2023, when Memon approached her while she was by herself and attempted to start private exchanges. He reportedly requested she send him riddle solutions via a messaging platform and insisted on keeping it confidential between them.
At that point, she viewed his actions as odd but refrained from reporting due to anxieties as a recent hire.
She alleged that the behavior intensified over time, with Memon trailing her, initiating undesired physical touches, staring uncomfortably, and pushing unwanted discussions despite her disinterest.
Upon informing her Quality and Training Manager in June 2023, she was told Memon’s past behavior had been dubious and was counseled to avoid solitude. Her team supervisor offered comparable guidance, suggesting she remain in groups and not isolate herself, without pursuing action against him.
Additionally, she claimed that following her reports, Memon retaliated by circulating false stories about her private affairs, wrongly associating her with a coworker and implying a romantic involvement.
The alleged mistreatment persisted after her wedding in November 2025. She reported Memon making lewd comments about her marital activities, such as inquiring, ‘What occupies you so much at night after getting married?’
In a February 2026 episode, when requesting time off for a journey with her spouse, Memon purportedly posed improper questions about it being a honeymoon and her alcohol consumption.
She further accused Memon and associates Danish and Tausif of workplace sabotage by altering systems to overwhelm her with calls arriving every second rather than the usual 30-second intervals.
Exasperated, she brought the matter to upper management, including Chainani, but contended that the implicated personnel were continually protected instead of her issues being resolved.
Her testimony also details an event on March 19, 2026, during Gudi Padwa, when colleague Shahrukh allegedly commented inappropriately on her looks and invited her out after gazing at her oddly and intently.
Despite numerous alerts, she maintained that no steps were taken, which she said implicitly promoted the offenders’ actions.
The woman has now submitted an official police report against Memon, Shahrukh, and Chainani.
She confirmed, ‘My account was prepared in Marathi, I reviewed it, and it correctly reflects what I described.’
