Google has released Nano Banana 2 Lite, its newest AI image generation model that prioritizes speed and lower costs, while also expanding access to Gemini Omni Flash, its multimodal system for video generation and editing.
The company stated that Nano Banana 2 Lite is now offered through Google AI Studio, the Gemini API, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. It is being integrated into consumer products including AI Mode in Search, the Gemini app, NotebookLM, Google Photos, Stitch, Google Flow, and Google Ads.
Nano Banana 2 Lite targets fast image workflows and large deployments where response time and expenses are important. The model produces text-to-image results in about four seconds and is priced at $0.034 per 1000-resolution image, according to Google.
